I'm a tenet of the mall so the perspective I offer is much different then those of your standard everyday walk in as I am in the mall basically everyday of my life and constantly reaching out to mall management for a verity of thing all of which are good. The mall is very very clean. Now I'm not going to say that I will eat a hot dog off the floor or anything however if I was in a situation where I had to eat a hot dog off of the floor of a public mall this is the mall to do it in. The Yorktown mall of Lombard is the place to be for a great shopping experience they offer a variety of storefronts range info from everything you could ever need.
Its my childhood mall. I like it because it is not too crazy big but still has a lot of great stores, restaurants, and movie theater. Plenty of free parking too. Recently remodeled. I love Von Maur (which is not super common) and Charming Charlie. Great outdoor part especially in the summer.
It's a fine mall. Nice play area for kids. Could use a coffee joint other than Gloria jeans or DD
The store selection is pretty bland. Too many large department stores that are mostly empty. We need more modern and relevant stores. The popular stores are always off to the side and secluded. Makes the mall feel less inviting. Hate the layout of the food court too.
This is a pretty nice mall with lots of things to do and plenty of restaurant options to choose from. It's usually pretty clean and busy on weekends. I've never had a bad time here. I really like that there's a bar in the food court.
